FARID BIKCHANTAYEV ADDRESSED TO RUSTAM MINNIKHANOV
In Kazan, it was proposed to create a state theatre institute to train specialists for the national theatres of Russia. Farid Bikchantayev, Chairman of the Union of theatre professionals of the Republic of Tatarstan and artistic director of the Kamal theatre, addressed to the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov on behalf of the theatrical community of the Republic.
"We can train the entire range of theatre specialists in our Republic. We have the potential, resources, and people who are able to generously share their experience in all areas of theatre knowledge without exception. Kazan and the Republic of Tatarstan may well become one of the all-Russian centres of theatre education and pedagogy, firmly and permanently take a leading position by creating their own theatre Institute, concentrating all theatrical forces in one place, " he highlighted.
In Tatarstan, there is a lack of specialists in the artistic and stage management, drama studies, and production business. According to Bikchantayev's opinion, it's time to think about training directors of drama theatres and puppet theatres. Fortunately, there is a theatre school in Kazan that will celebrate its centenary in 2022.
"Having secured the support of the theatre community of the Republic of Tatarstan, I ask you, dear Rustam Nurgalievich, to consider the possibility of creating the Kazan State Theatre Institute on the basis of the Kazan theatre school, which would meet all the requirements of the modern professional theatre of the Republic and have the opportunity to train specialists for the national theatres of Russia," Bikchantayev said.
