THE KAMAL THEATRE WILL TAKE PART IN THE SECOND ALL-RUSSIAN FESTIVAL OF NATIONAL THEATRES "CRIMEAN THEATRICAL AUTUMN"

From September 4 to 10, Crimea will host the Second All-Russian festival of national theatres "Crimean theatrical fall". 9 leading national theatres of Russia will present their productions in Yalta, Kerch, and Simferopol. G. Kamal Tatar State Academic Theatre will show a performance "Alien" based on the play by Syumbel Gaffarova directed by Farid Bikchantayev. On September 7, the Kamal Theatre actors will perform on the stage of Yalta theatre named after  A. Chekhov.
The Kamal theatre is the only theatre that represents Tatarstan at the festival. The program also includes national theatres from Bashkortostan, Kalmykia, Karelia, Mari-El, North Ossetia, Tuva, Chechnya and Chuvashia.
The play "Alien" is a festival hit in the theatre's repertoire. The production was performed in China, India, and Hungary for 3 years.

About the performance:
After the fall of the iron curtain and the collapse of the USSR, the peoples of the former Autonomous republics began to turn to the white pages of their history. One of these sad themes for the Tatars, the second largest people in Russia, was the fate of prisoners of war soldiers and officers who refused to go over to the side of Nazi Germany and went through all the hardships of Hitler's concentration camps, and after the collapse of the third Reich became prisoners of Stalin's Gulag. Those of them who were lucky enough to return home in the fifties, only recently received the status of participants in the Second world war. But there were also those who, anticipating a new arrest, did not return to their homeland. They were scattered all over the world...
The hero of the play "Alien", Nakip, by the will of fate, found himself in Canada after the war and began a new life. In a small town in the canadian hinterland, he arranged a kind of Tatar village, began to grow potatoes, and instead of Halloween celebrate Tatar Sabantuy. He calls his wife in the Tatar manner "Janim" (my Soul), and not Joanna. But the neighbor Samuel, just like him, "alien", only with Scottish roots, brings the news that from now on all former Soviet subjects are allowed to return to the USSR, they are no longer in danger.

Will the hero return to his homeland, meet his first love, visit his mother's grave?
