CALL FOR BIDS IN THE XV INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL “NAURUZ”

From June 7 to 13, 2021, Kazan will host the XV International Theatre Festival of the Turkic Peoples "Nauruz". This year, the festival will be held under the auspices of the theatre arts of the Northern Turks - the Republic of Altai, the Republic of Tyva, and the Republic of Khakassia. To participate in the main program of the Festival, you must fill out an application on the official website of the Kamal Theatre kamalteatr.ru by February 1, 2021.Performances that have premiered during the last two theatrical seasons are considered for participation in the Festival. All performances submitted for participation in the festival must be performed in the languages of the Turkic language group.
Participants of the Festival can be professional and independent state drama theatres, puppet theatres, and Turkic-speaking republics and countries, as well as groups performing performances of traditional and area theatrical forms of the Turkic peoples (outdoor performances, including site-specific genres, promenade).
The performances of the XV "Nauruz" will be presented at 7 theatre venues in Kazan: the Big and Small Stages of the G. Kamal Theatre, the Big and Small Stages of the Ekiyat Puppet Theatre, the K. Tinchurin Tatar State Drama and Comedy Theatre, the G. Kariev Young Spectator Theatre, the Kaban Lake embankment.
The founders of the Festival are the Ministry of culture, the Tatarstan Union of theatre workers of the Russian Federation, the Union of theatrical figures of Tatarstan. The festival is organized by the Tatar State Academic Theater named after G. Kamal.
