The new theatrical project of the G. Kamal Theatre, based on texts important for Tatar culture, will present the Tatar world at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, experiencing historical upheavals associated with the famine that swept the Volga region in the 1880s and the first general population census of the Russian Empire in 1897.. The authors of the play will try to find points of contact between the text of a century ago and today's man is looking, waiting, striving to be happy like centuries ago.
Is Happiness joy, success, prosperity, love, hope, faith? Are there any precise definitions of this all-encompassing, all-consuming, all-forgiving state, feeling, category of life?.. Is a person able to find answers to his questions? Or is this eternal search the meaning of human existence, his happiness?
The performance will feature music by composer Elena Shipova performed by the Theatre Orchestra. The conductor is Daniyar Sokolov.
