NAURUZ 2023

The XVI International Theatre Festival "Nauruz"


From June 5 to 11, 2023, the XVI International Theatre Festival of Turkic Peoples "Nauruz" will be held in Kazan.


Every two years, the festival gathers in Kazan the best performances from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and the regions of Russia (Altai, Bashkortostan, Dagestan, Crimea, Sakha-Yakutia, Tatarstan, Khakassia, Tyva, Chuvashia).


To develop and strengthen theatrical ties between the Turkic-speaking and other national regions of the Russian Federation, the upcoming festival is dedicated to the theatres of the peoples of the North Caucasus.
