The play won the 1st prize of the contest “New Tatar Play - 2012”. The man has been looking for something all his life: happiness, love, the meaning of life, himself ... And Safar 35 years ago with these thoughts, leaving his girlfriend, who was expecting a child from him, without explaining anything to anyone, he left his native village. Today he is coming back. Did he find what he was looking for? People used to be close to him: Sarah, who truly loved him, friend Marat, who had to marry Sarah to save her from shame, Ruzilya, who had had unrequited love for Safar for her life and a granddaughter of Nurzilya, who was not at all familiar to him now. Maybe the smell of wormwood that Safar loves so much, their life is so bitter.
